Can you tell one bee from another? Do you know which species are rare in North Devon?
At the Braunton Countryside Centre we regularly organise walks and workshops in collaboration with The Bumblebee Conservation Trust to help people understand a little bit more about the common bee.
We looks at ways to identify common bumblebee species as well as searching for North Devon’s rarities including the Brown banded and Moss carder bees.
The workshops are open to beginners and bumblebee enthusiasts of any skill level.
