Join us and Plastic Free North Devon for an eye-opening screening of the story of plastic.
The Story of Stuff Project’s film offers a broad look at the man-made catastrophe of plastic pollution and its global impact on our planet’s health.
The film, which spans three continents, depicts the unfolding disaster: fields of garbage, literal mountains of trash, clogged rivers and oceans, and skies choked with harmful emissions from plastic production and processing. The film distils a complex problem that is progressively impacting the planet’s and its populations’ well-being, using compelling original animation, vintage industry footage dating back to the 1930s, and first-person accounts of the impending emergency.
After the film, there will be a Q&A with speakers to be announced.
This will be a hybrid event with tickets available for the in person show or via an online showing over Zoom.
We hope you can join us!
