Join us to explore a beautiful woodland location tucked away above Croyde village to discover all the spring wildflowers that thrive there.
We will be meeting at Croyde village hall car park (EX33 1LX) to walk up behind the village to the little patch of woodland that is owned by the Braunton Countryside Centre.
Mary Breeds, local ecologist will be giving a guided tour around the beautifully located woodland looking at the spring flora. The walk up to this woodland is quite a steep climb up to the hop of the hill behind the Croyde village, so is only suitable for able bodied people.
The route is NOT wheelchair accessible and unfortunately not suitable for very young children as it is quite a long and steep walk but does have some incredibly rewarding views once you reach the top!
Please wear sturdy walking shoes/boots and weather appropriate clothing. Bring water, a hat and binoculars.
£4 per person. Booking preferred.
