What to expect:
This tour gives you the chance to learn about the fascinating history of Braunton, the historic agriculture of Braunton Great Field, the once-bustling port at Velator Quay, and how the railroad’s arrival in the area influenced Braunton.
StartingĀ at Braunton Countryside Centre in the village centre, this walk will take roughly two hours.
The route consists relatively flat terrain and some rural footpaths so is suitable for able bodied persons. Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sensible walking shoes.

He once had offices in Braunton Countryside Centre and in 2008 oversaw an ambition interpretation project called Explore Braunton, which led to the development of a popular website with information about Braunton and the surrounding area which this walk with follow.
