Through the summer months the Braunton Burrows bursts into colour with a natural carpeting of rare, fascinating and often protected flora and fauna.
An expert on the flora and fauna of the Braunton Burrows, Mary Breeds hosts an intriguing and educational guided walk every Wednesday throughout June and July.
Please meet at Sandy Lane car park for 7.00pm.
The cost is free but a donation of £4 to the Braunton Countrysdie Centre is suggested.
For more information, please contact Mary Breeds at mary_breeds@hotmail.com
To compliment the walk, Mary has also written a guide book entitled ‘Wild Flowers of Braunton Burrows’ which is available to buy from the Braunton Countryside Centre, various other shops around Braunton or online from: https://www.nhbs.com/wild-flowers-of-braunton-burrows-book
